‘Early Bird’ or ‘Night Owl’? One those two descriptions define most people to a certain extent. I fall more into the ‘Early Bird’ category…Bert, on the other hand, is much more the ‘Mr. Night Owl’. Lindsay and Zac most definitely are early birds. They totally rocked their sunrise session at Tibbetts Point! Rockefeller their ‘puppy’ was even able to share in some of the fun. Autumn weddings are so much fun. There is something about the unpredictability as the days grow cooler that just adds to the day. Cheyenne and the girls were totally prepared for whatever the day might bring. They arrived at the Ritz with vibrant little duck-bill umbrellas in hand which made for some great shots with the girls later in the day! Congratulations to Cheyenne and Dan!

Salmon River Falls
If you venture out to the walk by Salmon River Falls, you will no doubt see the sign erected to the side of the gate to the trail that leads to the bottom. It says something to the effect of, “Daredevils only past this point. Proper climbing boots, helmets, etc. are recommended if you proceed”–or that was my interpretation anyway. David and Danielle have actually taken this hiking path in previous years. They certainly have my badge of courage!
The evening of their session, we took the foot path skirting the top of the falls which was magnificent. David and Danielle are so cute together! Congratulations! 
Lowville NY ‘Love Story’ : Kati & James
The beauty of northern New York never ceases to amaze me. We have lived in this area for four years and it seems like we still ‘find’ new gorgeous places every week! Enter Katie and James. Kati was dying to take some photos by water and chose Whittaker Falls Park for their session. It was perfect. The water was low enough that we could all make it to the bottom of the falls (without getting wet), but high enough to catch the beauty of the water in the background.

One of my favorite parts of shooting an engagement session, is getting to know the couple. Brooke and Ray first met in high school. Graduation came and went with life sending them their separate ways. It took a couple years but when their paths crossed again they started walking the path together. This spring, while surrounded by their closest family , Ray proposed to Brooke. This is just the beginning of their beautiful love story and we are so thankful to be a part of it. Congratulations!
