It was cold. It was snowing. It was amazing. Yes, Amanda and Joey rocked their engagement session! Bert and I were feeling a big bit guilty for enjoying all the warmth and coziness of ourcoats while Amanda and Joey were toughing the elements! But it was oh so beautiful. The Clayton Opera House is such a fun location. Brittney and Eric had a ‘Theater’ theme for their wedding, complete with a ticket booth and personalized tickets for name cards. Super adorable! Bert decided he might hire the groomsmen for in the future. While he was taking pictures of the bridesmaids, the groomsmen were chilling out with their own poses, totally ready for the camera to turn their direction! Fun stuff, we love you guys! I keep going on about autumn, this is true. But it has been such a great one. There are even a few fall colors left on the trees! We had the privilege to shoot Melissa and Sam’s engagement session last weekend. They are an awesome sweet couple. Sam is in basic training at the moment and was just ‘visiting’ home over the Veterans Day weekend.

Every few months we ease into a new season. It has been that way since the beginning of time. And as each season begins, I am convinced it is my favorite time of year. Every year, every time. I know that it isn’t possible to have that many truly favorite seasons….but fall is my favorite! Courtney and Jon’s engagement session at Thompson Park just might have had something to do with this ‘decision’. They totally rocked it! Courtney has unstoppable energy, which she needs everyday as a teacher. Congratulations to you both! You are so cute together!
