Winter can be a tricky time to schedule an outdoor photo session here in Upstate New York. It was a cool afternoon for Kayla and Chris, but it was totally worth it! The Sackets Harbor Battlefield was a perfect backdrop for some of the shots. Congratulations Kayla and Chris!

Finding warmer places to take pictures during the winter here in the North Country, can be a bit challenging! But Sarah and Bryan picked a couple of great locations. We started out in Thompson Park . There had been a little bit of snow flurries early in the morning, making everything fresh and beautiful. After a bit, we moved over to the Flower Memorial Library for cozy warmer shots. Miranda and Mark had the most beautiful little engagement shoot out at Whetstone Gulf State Park. Snow is always romantic, but when it is the first snowfall of the year, it just doesn’t get any better! Congratulations to you both!
One of my favorite parts of getting to know our brides and grooms, is to hear how they met. It Erin and Steve’s case, Steve saw Erin and he knew that was it. She was the one. And he wasn’t going to give up until she was his! It is pretty easy to see that they were both winners. Congratulations Erin and Steve!
